Emeraude is trained under saddle. She is an excellent trail horse, very bold and willing. I rode her bareback last winter when heavily in foal and she was so much fun to ride. Emeraude is a proven broodmare. Three of her sons and one of her filly were shown and did very well in halter classes. Her most famous offspring is Kamouloup Fakir Kamouraska who won the title of Grand Champion Canadian Colt at the UCD futurity in 2002 and 2003. Kamouloup Fakir Mountana placed 2nd at the VIEX in 2003 and Kamouloup Kam Nuage placed 2nd in the two shows he was presented in 2004. Canadream Fakir Rendez vous placed 1st at the Canadian Horse Show @ Orono as a weanling. Kamouraska has been shown in dressage, winning Training level at the 2006 National Dressage Show held at Saddlewood in Bethany, ON with a score of 68.462%. Emeraude has a nice trot with powerful hind quarters and big gentle eyes. She always produced offspring of exceptional quality. Emeraude can be rebred to any of Canadream's stallions in 2007.
