Black, will mature 16 hands, born March 25th 2005
Ruby has been started under saddle and is loving it. She is a very uncomplicated mare that wants to please. She is going nicely walk, trot, canter and really enjoys the trail rides. She is so quiet and willing that Kiki my 8 year old daughter rode her. While her legs weren’t even going pass the saddle pad she was able to make her walk, trot and halt easily….that says a lot for a mare that is just 2 ½ years old. She is presently going through a growth spurt (1 ½ inche between croup and whiters) so she a bit heavier on the forehand than a couple of months ago which will be corrected as soon as her front hand will catch up to her croup. She is presently 15.3 ½ at the croup so she will definitely be 16 hands at maturity. Ruby trailers, bath, clips etc That mare would be the perfect all around family horse.
